Commercial Electric's 5/8 in. heavy-wall heat shrink tubing covers wire and cable， and， when heat is applied， shrinks the tubing and melts the adhesive to create tightly sealed bundles. The melted adhesive wall also creates a moisture-resistant barrier that allows this tubing to be used in wet environments. Also known as dual-wall heat shrink tubing， it is flexible to conform to irregular shapes and provides maximum reliability for insulating and protecting wire， cables and terminations. Made of rugged flame retardant Polyolefin. Great for cable insulation， marking/color-coding， bundling， and providing strain relief. Requires a heat gun or other open-flame heating device for installation and may not be suitable for enclosed or combustive environments.
